Derek Ryan Beglinger

Derek Ryan Beglinger, age 38, of Lakefield, passed away on Tuesday, June 7, 2022.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at the North City Park in Lakefield.

Derek Ryan Beglinger, son of Donald Raymond Beglinger Jr. and Mary Fatima Garcia. Derek was born on Friday, December 2, 1983, in Modesto, California. He attended high school in Nevada, and later obtained his Diploma. Derek grew up in Modesto. Later in his life, he lived in Nevada, before moving to Minnesota in 2015. Derek was united in marriage to Laura Mallol. This union was later dissolved. Derek was blessed with three children Elijah, Kevin, and Lyla. He was employed with Highland Manufacturing in Worthington, building homes. Derek was a member of Calvary Chapel in Modesto. On June 7, 2022, Derek was joined with his Lord and Savior at the age of 38 years, 6 months, and 5 days.

Derek was a very caring and compassionate gentleman and loved life to the fullest. He was always there to help his family and friends out during a time of need. Derek absolutely loved riding motorcycle and skateboarding. He had a strong belief in God. He loved each and every moment he was able to spend with his family. Derek made a big impact of many people’s lives. Derek has a very infectious smile. Each and every person that knew Derek, will cherish the memories with him for a lifetime.

Derek is survived by his children Elijah, Kevin, and Lyla; parents Donald Raymond Beglinger Jr, and Mary Fatima Garcia; other mother Dawn Marie Solvang; siblings Cynthia Beglinger, Henry Garcia Estrada, Heather (Heath) Kane, Kevin (Tiffany) Green, Matthew Scudder, and Michael Scudder; grandparent's Donald and Diane Hagen; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and great friends.

Derek is preceded in death by his grandparents.
