Eileen Beatrice Bisaillon

Eileen Bisaillon, age 84 of Lakefield, Minnesota, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Sanford Worthington Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Belmont Lutheran Church, with Pastor Andrew Schensted officiating. Burial will follow at West Belmont Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Belmont Lutheran Church or St. Jude's in Eileen's honor are preferred.

Sadly, our dear mom passed away March 16, 2023, at the age of 84, at Worthington Regional Hospital.  Surrounded by family. 

Eileen was born in Windom, MN, June 22, 1938, to Conrad and Julia (Sanderson) Kilen.  Nicknamed JuneBug, she was a country girl attending the last graduating class at Country School before attending Lakefield High School, graduating in 1956.  She then moved to Minneapolis and received her beautician’s license.  She met Dennis Hanson, her first husband, and had a daughter Kerri.  The family moved to Anaheim, CA where they lived for 8 years and had their second daughter Julie.

Eileen worked various jobs in Jackson and Lakefield, MN including Naturals, Sperry Univac, Lakefield hospital, nursing home and TSE before retiring. 

In 1982 Eileen married the late Gayle Janzen, sharing many years together before his passing.

In 1999 Eileen married the late Lee Bisaillon and shared many years together before his passing.

Eileen enjoyed nature, gardening, bird watching, reading, cooking, going to church and attending Sons of Norway meetings. She also volunteered at the local food shelf. 

Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, Conrad Kilen, Julia (Sanderson) Kilen, brothers Arlen Kilen, Ervin Kilen. 

Eileen is survived by her daughters Kerri (Hanson) Behrends, Tucson, AZ and Julie (Hanson) Terry Bannister Lakefield, MN.  Grandchildren Matthew (Val Arzola) Hanson,  Danielle Behrends and Haley Behrends Tucson, AZ, Kenna (Michael) Miller of Willmar, MN, Logan (Molly Mulhern) Bannister of Lakefield, MN.  And 8 great-grandchildren. 

Our family wishes to thank all those that had a part in mom’s care.
