Tom, Wendy &  Mike,

On behalf of Eric, myself and the Class of 1980, please accept our condolences on the sudden passing of Rich.  Many great  memories of "Butchie"  as a classmate and friend through high school, hanging at the county parks & with friends.    His love of the outdoors, hunting and fishing and spending time with his labs was definitely passed on from you Tom.     May your memories bring you peace and comfort at this time and in the days & weeks ahead.   Hugs & prayers to you all.      Eric & Kathy Overaas,   JHS Class of 1980

Dear Tom, Wendy and Michael.
My heart is broken!  When a goodbye is so unexpected and sudden, we can't help remembering how fragile life is...
Rich texted me during the Boulder, Colorado shootings "Are you alright?"  I responded "Yes, too close to work.  Senseless!"  Then later I sent pictures of the memorials and thought it was odd he didn't respond.
I hope you know that quietly, tenderly I share your sadness.
I will eat walleye, listen to music, hug my black lab and forever miss my friend.
With Sympathy, Cindy Tewes-Botterill
